We help our clients navigate family law matters, including divorce, adoption, post-decree modifications, and the allocation of parental responsibilities with clarity and confidence. About The Family Law Associate Position
As a Family Law Associate, you will handle a full caseload involving divorce, custody, child support, spousal maintenance, and related family law matters. You will have the autonomy to manage your own files while benefiting from mentorship and support from experienced attorneys. We are looking for someone who is not only legally skilled but also empathetic and dedicated to helping clients navigate complex and emotionally charged situations.
Our ideal candidate possesses at least one year of experience practicing family law in the state of Colorado and has demonstrated the ability to litigate family law cases successfully. Broader experience across a range of family law matters is preferred (divorce, child custody, support, and property division).
Key Responsibilities
- Independently manage a full caseload from intake through resolution
- Represent clients in hearings, mediations, depositions, and trials
- Draft motions, discovery requests, settlement agreements, and other legal documents
- Conduct legal research and develop case strategies tailored to each client’s unique situation
- Maintain regular and responsive communication with clients, opposing counsel, and the court
Qualifications
- Active Bar License to practice law in the state of Colorado (required)
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Colorado family law
- Strong litigation and negotiation skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to high standards of integrity, professionalism, and client service
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team setting
Location & Hours
- Hybrid remote in Colorado Springs, CO
- Monday to Friday (8 AM – 5 PM)

- Hybrid flexibility: We offer a blend of remote and in‑office work

- Competitive compensation: We offer salaries ranging from $90,000 to $135,000 (plus bonuses) for attorneys with 1-4 years of experience and $140,000-$185,000 (plus bonuses) for attorneys with 5+ years experience.
- Generous Signing Bonus: We offer a $5000-$10,000 signing bonus for attorneys joining with 5+ years of family law experience.
